HOW WE STARTED

For Macaya’s senior Exit Project at Camas High School in 2003, he created a soccer camp to give back to the community of Camas. His research paper was on the positive effects of role models on youth. Since then Dan has spent the past two decades developing his craft of coaching and training student-athletes. With a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (Health/Fitness endorsement) and a Masters in Career and Technical Education, Macaya focuses on developing the whole person.
